RUNNING GAIT ANALYSIS
Luke has a special interest in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of running-related injuries.

Have you noticed that we are taught how to do many sporting skills such as tennis, golf and swimming, but rarely, IF EVER taught how to run properly?! Just like any sport there is a right and wrong way to do things. Through poor running technique, many people put their bodies under a lot more load than it should be when they run. This leads to sore backs, shins, knees or even shoulders and necks. Poor technique means that you work harder, go slower and feel worse when you run than you should.

Some of the common technique faults we see in runners are:
-
Overstriding
-
Poor posture
-
Incorrect arm swing

The good news is that these can be corrected! A running technique analysis by Luke can help you determine where your imbalances are and how you need to correct them!

A 60-minute treadmill running analysis with Luke consists of:
-
Video recording and analysis of your running technique
-
Identification of areas that need improvement and ways to correct
-
Post-intervention video recording
-
Drills & exercises to help you implement any changes needed

Suitable for all ages and abilities, this analysis allows greater detail and feedback in a fun one-on-one environment
Chiropractors with a special interest in sports, keep active Australians at their best by treating neuro-muscular dysfunction. Using a combination of specific Chiropractic adjustments, exercise and rehabilitation measures and soft tissue therapies, the Sports Chiropractor’s aim is to restore and enhance the body’s neuro-musculoskeletal system for peak performance on a preventative and rehabilitative basis.

Luke is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of sports related injury. In addition, he has a thorough understanding of injury prevention, rehabilitation measures, and a sound knowledge base of return-to-play criteria.

Your Sports Chiropractic appointment will include a detailed discussion of your past and present injuries, your competitive goals and a thorough physical assessment to identify the source of your problems. This then allows us to formulate an individualized plan to get you back to what you enjoy, as soon as possible.

Luke’s approach to treatment is multimodal, which means he uses a variety of techniques depending on your condition and preferences. This can include specific adjustments to the spine and extremities, pain science education, mobilization, soft tissue therapies, rehabilitation and other movement/exercise therapies, sports-specific technique advice, kinesiotaping, strapping and bracing.
RUNNING WORKSHOPS
Enhance Running technique workshops are designed to help identify and correct errors in your running technique that can put extra stress on areas such as knees, backs and shins. Every step with poor technique takes you closer to your next injury. Let the ENHANCE Running technicians help you to keep running.

Enhance running workshops are conducted in groups no larger than 10, to provide a fun environment to learn about running technique. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
TITLEIST PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE (TPI) SCREENING
The TPI Golf Screen is one of the most valuable tools in the toolbox for any golf, fitness, or medical professional who works with golfers. Not only can the Screen help identify physical limitations that shape a player’s swing and contribute to painful movement, it facilitates communication between professionals in various fields of performance enhancement (instruction, fitness, and medical). This team approach is at the core of the TPI game improvement philosophy.
